EDITORIAL PROFILE
Realms of Fantasy is a glossy, bimonthly, full-color magazine that covers the full spectrum of
fantasy, from Arthurian sagas to the newest heroic conquests, from ancient myths to
contemporary fantasy. It will also feature an art gallery showcasing the work of one of today’s
top fantasy artists, complete fantasy book and movie reviews, and coverage of the hottest new
fantasy console, PC, online, card, board, and role-playing games.

ADVERTISING MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS
Four-color advertising material will be accepted in the
following format:
DIGITAL MEDIA
a. Zip Disk or CD formatted for Mac, high-res .pdf, Quark 6 (or older version), Macromedia Freehand 8.0 and/or Adobe Illustrator 9.0. Must send match print (or equivalent) color proof with zip or CD, or publisher cannot be held responsible for color reproduction. Advertiser must include all typefaces on disk, in addition to all EPS and TIFF files. Ads formatted for any other machine or software are unusable to us.
Black and white and 2-color advertising material will be accepted in the following format:
a. Digital Media formatted for Mac Quark 4 (or older
version), Macromedia Freehand 8.0 and/or Adobe Illustrator 9.0.
Send laser proof along with zip or CD. Advertiser must include
all typefaces on disk, in addition to all EPS and TIFF files. Ads
formatted for any other machine or software are unusable to us,
and should be sent to a service bureau to be output
as velox. Publisher will not be held responsible for
reproduction of any ad furnished without a proof.
b. Velox or stat.
c. Laser-Printed Mechanicals. NOTE: Laser-printed mechanicals MUST use 600 DPI (or higher) laser printing.
Lower density (300 DPI , dot-matrix or ink jet) printing will not reproduce clearly on our glossy paper stock. SM will re-typeset any mechanical using less than a 600 DPI print, and will charge the advertiser.
Proofs must be furnished for all color ads. Publisher is not responsible for quality of reproduction if progressive proofs are not furnished.

d. Agency Commission—15% to recognized agencies.
e. Rates subject to change upon notice from publisher.

g. No classified advertisements will be accepted. |
| TERMS AND CONDITIONS |
Billing: Payment is based on net 30 days. 11.2% monthly service charge applied on unpaid balance over 30 days.
Advertisers using PO box number in their address must furnish Publisher with a legal street address and phone number. Credits earned by increasing frequency during contract will be
applied to future billing. No cancellations accepted after
deadline. Any advertiser who doesn't complete a contracted schedule will be subject to a short rate.
Advertisers will be held responsible for any and all costs incurred in collecting unpaid bills including court and
legal costs. | |
